Welcome to Inzievar Woods

We want to welcome you to Inzievar Woods!

A lovely place to come for a walk and decompress, you are very welcome to explore and enjoy the woods. Wander through the Oaks, Beeches, Birch and Scots Pine and keep your eyes peeled for a multitude of birds or deer. With some luck you might even spot some of our elusive Red Squirrels or our newly discovered Pine Marten. Please take care as you walk through the forest and please make sure to stay away from the Sawmill and the log stacks.

As you walk though the woods we would ask you to to take any litter with you and pick up any you find and make sure any dog poo stays off the paths, leaving this special place as you found it (or even cleaner) for the next person to have the same experience.

Parking is best at the Holy Name Church just across the road. Please be considerate and be aware it might be quite full during services.

Below we have a lovely hand drawn map of the woodland with the majority of our main paths and features for you to explore.

Woodland Management

Dynamic Woods is in the process of developing a 10-year woodland management plan for Inzievar woods which aims to enhance the existing woodland through sustainable forest management. Our focus is to maintain the character of the woodland while increasing its species diversity and structure.

We are inviting stakeholders and interested parties to help guide this process, to ensure the plan is inclusive in line with the values of local residents and visitors to the woodland. Please read through the plan outline by following the button below and reply with any feedback.
